Welcome to TopicTide. By creating a workspace or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Beta Services Agreement

TopicTide grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the platform under this free beta. The platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.

Summary: You get a free account to test our software while it is in beta. Because it is a test version, there might be occasional bugs.

2. Beta Program Feedback Requirements (Mandatory)

To participate in the free TopicTide Beta Access Program, you agree to complete mandatory bi-weekly feedback surveys (approximately 5 minutes each) and participate in a monthly 15-minute feedback call with the TopicTide product team. Failure to complete these feedback requirements may result in suspension or termination of your beta workspace access.

Summary: Because this is a free beta program, your feedback is our currency. You agree to complete a quick survey every two weeks and do a 15-minute call with us once a month. If you repeatedly skip these feedback requests, we may have to close your workspace.

3. Marketing Logo Usage (Important)

By enrolling in the TopicTide free beta workspace, you grant TopicTide a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and publish your company's name, brand logo, and general feedback quotes in TopicTide marketing materials, websites, case studies, and promotional slides.

Summary: Since this is a free beta, you agree that we can show your company's name and logo on our website and marketing materials to let people know you use our tool.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the platform (excluding user-provided data) remain the sole property of TopicTide and its licensors.

Summary: We own the code, design, and software of TopicTide, while you own your own customer feedback data.

5. Third-Party Integrations & Data Sources

TopicTide allows you to connect third-party integrations (including Google Drive, YouTube API Services, Jira, Zendesk, SurveyMonkey, Instagram, and X) to import data into your workspace. By connecting these accounts, you grant TopicTide permission to access, fetch, process, and display the integration data on your behalf. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to import this data. By connecting YouTube integrations, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. TopicTide is not responsible for the performance, terms, or privacy practices of these third-party services.

Summary: When you connect accounts like Google Drive or YouTube, you give us permission to import their data to show on your dashboard. You also agree to follow their terms (like the YouTube Terms of Service).

6. Usage Analytics and Tracking

To monitor platform performance, stabilize the beta services, and optimize features, TopicTide employs Google Analytics 4 (GA4) as detailed in our Privacy Policy. By utilizing the platform, you acknowledge and agree that TopicTide may record anonymous or pseudonymous usage logs, active screen timing, and page path interactions to diagnose errors and enhance usability.

Summary: We use Google Analytics to track page performance and feature use, helping us find bugs and improve the platform.
